WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL NETWORKING (WIN) ORGANIZED THEIR SECOND INDIAN CONFERENCE AT New Delhi - March 17th – 18th, 2016

The Global Women’s International Networking (WIN) Conference comes to India, New Delhi 7th March, 2016
250 leaders from 25 different countries to look at how to shape a future that benefits all

Building on the success of the inaugural India WINConference in 2013, the empowering conference is back in New Delhi. India WINConference speakers included Founder & CEO of the YP Foundation Ishita Chaudhry, Chairman Shell India Yasmin Hilton, Executive Director-Foods of Hindustan Unilever Limited GeetuVerma and many more top business leaders, NGOs, activists and politicians met to celebrate and inspire the empowerment of more women across the globe.
WIN is an international conference that is organised in more than a dozen countries across the globe. Through world-class plenary sessions, practical workshops, benchmarking forums and coaching – WINConference is one of the largest global women’s network providing communities, companies and individual leaders the possibility to grow and contribute to a world in which we all flourish. It witnesses top business leaders, NGOs, activists and politicians meeting in a colourful and diverse setting, integrating the divine feminine with modern business practices and tools.
India has been successful in educating its women, and today more women are going into higher education than ever before. A recent study by Booz and company says that if men and women in India were to be equally employed India’s GDP could go up by 27 percent. According to an article in Time, the highest proportions of women with senior roles are in the BRICS nations – Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. There, women comprise 30 percent of senior management positions, which is higher than the global average (24 percent).

Rekha Mody, In the next two years, India will have 320 million people over 60 years of age, a swell of more than three times since 2010, according to UN estimates.
