Ms. Ruma Roka: is the founder of the Noida Deaf Society. With her passion and efforts, she has driven NDS's growth from just 5 students to having impacted 4,500 youths, in addition to facilitating employment for over 1,100 trained youths in formal industries.
She was also recognized under the category of 'Idol Makers' by IBN 7, a prominent new channel in India, and in 2010, Bajaj Alliance's 'Super Idol Award'. She also received the 2013 'Woman of Excellence Award' by Women's International Network (WIN) for her work in the disability sector.
